Samuel R. Luka, M.S, M.D.
Dr. Luka is originally from Chicago, Illinois. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis and his master’s degree from Georgetown University. He then attended medical school at St. Louis University before completing his general surgery residency at George Washington University. Following this, he received additional training by completing his colorectal surgery fellowship at Rutgers University.
Dr. Luka specializes in the treatment of colon and rectal diseases, both benign and malignant, as well as anorectal disorders. He is trained in both robotic and advanced laparoscopic techniques. He is board certified in General Surgery and board eligible in Colon and Rectal Surgery.
As a member of both the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, Dr. Luka is active in both national societies. When he is not working, he enjoys traveling with his wife and exploring the scenic areas surrounding Las Vegas.
